BLUETOOTH

Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances (using short-wavelength UHF radio waves in the ISM band from 2.4 to 2.485 GHz) from fixed and mobile devices. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a lower power format of Bluetooth designed for numerous specialist applications such as Healthcare, Mining and sensor networks (as used in IoT environments). BLE solutions consist of BLE tags or sensors, a BLE Gateway and a software solution. Data from the BLE tag is transferred to the Gateway and then to the cloud.

LoRa

Long Range Radio (LoRa) is a low power Wide Area Network (WAN) which has risen in popularity because of both power efficiency and large area of coverage possible. LoRa infrastructure enables the long-range communication of sensors with limited bandwidth requirements that enables low power consumption and very long battery life.
The LoRa Terminal Device uploads tracked data to the base Station. The base station transfers the data to cloud through a variety of network modes (e.g. Ethernet/3G). The cloud solution continuously monitors the status of the terminal equipment on which the terminal device is attached
