GPS

Global Positioning System (GPS) comprises of many orbiting satellites continuously transmitting radio signals about their current time and position. GPS receivers monitor these radio signals (from ideally four satellites simultaneously) to determine its precise position and its deviation from true time. GPS provides special satellite signals, which are processed by a GPS receiver. Such receivers track the exact location, compute velocity and time.

LoRa

Long Range Radio (LoRa) is a low power Wide Area Network (WAN) which has risen in popularity because of both power efficiency and large area of coverage possible. LoRa infrastructure enables the long-range communication of sensors with limited bandwidth requirements that enables low power consumption and very long battery life.
The LoRa Terminal Device uploads tracked data to the base Station. The base station transfers the data to cloud through a variety of network modes (e.g. Ethernet/3G). The cloud solution continuously monitors the status of the terminal equipment on which the terminal device is attached
